Great idea for a forum.

I totally agree that nuclear needs to be back in the game in the US.

I personally think that fuel reprocessing is the key to addressing the "storage problem"

France has been reprocessing spent fuel for decades and their process is efficient enough for something like 96% conversion to usable fuel.

With the US' 30 years of spent fuel rods in spent fuel pools across the country, a reprocessing effort could reuse this fuel into the future for decades.

I am also a big proponent of GCPBR technology.
